Golf equipment manufacturer credentials will be issued to companies who have exempt PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and/or Korn Ferry Tour members currently under contract for exclusive and ongoing use of their equipment during competition in PGA TOUR cosponsored or approved tournaments and/or the equipment must currently have an established consistent representation in the weekly reports compiled and verified by the Darrell Survey Company. NOTE: You may be asked to provide a copy of the signed contract/agreement.
Credentials will not be issued to companies or representatives of training aids.
The PGA TOUR reserves the right to limit the number of credentials per company. The following guideline applies to the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, or Korn Ferry Tour:
The number of exempt PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and/or Korn Ferry Tour members you are servicing under contract and the number of times your product appears on the Darrell Survey will determine the number of credentials that will be issued. Note: Exempt players are considered as follows: Tournament winner and special exemption categories through the Top 50 from Korn Ferry Tour category (PGA TOUR).
NOTE: An exempt player must be in the field of the current week’s event in order for the manufacturer (Equipment Rep) credential to be valid.
An application fee of $1,250.00 and an additional $300.00 plus $19.50 sales tax for each approved credential will be billed to you. $1250.00 application fee for each company.
Upon review and approval of a golf equipment manufacturer application, under the guidelines described herein, golf equipment companies will be billed a $1250.00 application fee plus $300.00 (plus $19.50 sales tax) for each approved credential. Upon receipt of a payment for these approved credentials, the equipment manufacturer badges will be forwarded to you.
A manufacturer credential will be issued to staff responsible for Social Media. Companies and individuals hereby agree to and follow the PGA TOUR Social Media Guidelines in order to receive a credential. Companies must make prior arrangements with PGA TOUR Media for any use outside the scope of the guidelines and there may be a fee. PGA TOUR Social Media Guidelines can be downloaded HERE.
Golf equipment manufacturer credentials will be issued to full-time employees of recognized manufacturer companies who have exempt PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and/or Korn Ferry Tour members currently under contract for exclusive and ongoing use of their equipment during competition in PGA TOUR cosponsored or approved tournament, and/or the equipment must currently have an established, consistent representation in the weekly reports compiled and verified by the Darrell Survey Company. NOTE: The purpose of this credential is to service player(s) who are currently using your equipment. Soliciting other players for use of your product while on-site is strictly prohibited. Displays of equipment, training aids, etc. that are not authorized is strictly prohibited and will result in the revocation of the company’s credential. In addition, distributing supplements to players is strictly prohibited.
* “M” provides media center access, but does not entitle credential holder to workspace in the media center, media parking or media dining.
Manufacturers must present a neat appearance while on club property. Khaki-style long pants and a collared shirt are appropriate. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, cut-off shorts and cargo-style shorts are not permitted.
Parking will be designated by each individual tournament on a space available basis (normally Monday – Wednesday). On the PGA TOUR, only certain approved equipment vehicles (vans, trucks or trailers) will be permitted to be on site each week. Approval for additional equipment vehicles on site shall be evaluated annually by the PGA TOUR. Requests for consideration can be submitted to Jodi Herb at:email@example.com.
For PGA TOUR tournaments (only), equipment representatives must pre-register notifying the tournament of their attendance. Registering is done by going to: playersupport.pgatourhq.com
Clubhouse and locker room: Due to space limitations in the locker room, the players, and tournament sponsors ask that you refrain from entering this area unless you have business to conduct with players prior to the first round of competition. Display bags are not permitted in the locker room. Amenities (food, beverage, telephone service, etc.) provided by the tournament sponsor in the locker room and/or player hospitality area are for the players and their immediate family only.
The holder of this badge agrees that all equipment provided to contestants for use in an official competition shall be reviewed and approved in advance by the USGA as to the equipment’s conformity with the Rules of Golf. Failure to do so will result in immediate revocation of the company’s credentials.
PGA TOUR reserves the right to revoke badges issued to any or all persons authorized by company pursuant to this credential application and cancel all privileges connected there with at any time after issuance.
